We started with laying slabs serifs onto Trim, thinking we would call it Trim Slab. The foundation always seemed like the perfect base to build on, and we felt a slab version would bring something unique to its genre. But in adding slabs the project grew into something else. The interplay of verticals, horizontals and diagonals reminds us of traditional korsvirke (timber framing). Say hello to our first serif: Brace.

Furach is a typeface inspired from graphics and vintage posters, that is done entirely by hand, made with a simple style, classic look, elegant and natural. majority in uppercase with some combinations opentype. the furach typeface includes a full set of capital and lowercase letters as well as multy-lingual support currency figures, numerals, functuation and some extra gliphs.

Nice typographic experiment consisting of the progressive “bodonization” I have summarized in two steps, by a letter drawn with the same concentration and intensity with which Paris Hilton reading a book, to get something like the sketches that Mr. Gianbattista used to Wrap the sandwich.

Brawls Typeface is new font from Heybing Supply Co, the font with simple, minimalistic, retro and vintage feel character set. Come with 2 styles, a clean and rough to create an option for the designs. To create the beautiful combination, just mix the uppercase and lowercase then mix with the alternative glyphs. The brawls typeface includes a full set of capital and lowercase letters, as well as multi-lingual support, currency figures, numerals, punctuation & some extra glyphs.

This font is based on two typed letters, each on two pages and dated 1901. The results are eroded, rough, irregular and grungy. The final results are a vintage look. As a designer I wanted as much flexibility as possible so there are 6 versions that are design to work together. Additionally I decided to keep the grunge and irregularities within the shape and not include surrounding typewriter or paper marks. I leave it to the design to add those elements as desired. One note, the letter spacing is much tighter than an old typewriter. I felt that readability for modern readers suffered with the added space. Of course you can get that same look by increasing the letter spacing in your favorite design program.

Azo Sans is a new sans serif loosely based on the elementary forms of geometry. It is constructed in a geometric manner and inspired by the constructivist typefaces of the 1920’s, but is instilled with a humanistic quality. Azo Sans is full of nuances that soften the strictness of pure geometry, making the typeface more human and pleasant to read in longer body text, while maintaining a sober and rational appearance. Azo Sans comes in six weights from Thin to Black, with a matching cursive italic for every weight.

Evergreen is Koziupa and Paul going all Zeitgeist after a few Malbec drinks. Two fonts praise nature from when the lights go out to the crack of dawn, and vice versa. That’s 24/7/365 of wild leafy Kumbaya. Even butterflies and flowers were mystified so much they had to get in there.
Evergreen is local, organic, and certified free trade. At some point we wrote down the name of the jungle where it originated, then lost the parchment in the hot springs a few hours later. But that’s immaterial. Crank up your Deep Forest sound, prep your Earthtone and Foliage palettes, and get into the big herbal.

5 OTF and WOFF
Line is a collaboration between Stefania Malmsten and Goran Soderstrom. The typeface was originally designed for Swedish fashion and culture magazine Rodeo in 2012 before it was released for commercial use at the end of 2013. Line comes in 5 super thin styles. They can be used individually, or with a formula that keeps stroke weight uniform across different point-sizes. The typeface consists of a basic character set with some alternate letters, plus a large number of modular embellishments which attach to letters in different ways, using kerning pairs. Line is inspired by beauty, handwriting, graffiti tags and scribble.

Signalist is a contemporary brush script. It is condensed and tight but still legible.

Decima is a new display face designed in 2008. The designer’s inspiration was a previous creation, PR41, a monoline condensed typeface developed for use on instrument panels. This time, the intention was to create a typeface with a more modern, yet soft, look while retaining PR41 characteristics. Decima is a condensed geometric San Serif, built in three weights and six styles. The letterforms in roman style are techno in appearance, while italics remind one of handwriting (which is evident in lowercase g, y, z whose loops resemble real italics). In bold weight, the letters retained the condensed matrix of regular weight letterforms, making it ideal for titling usage. Ink traps have been added to some letters to aid readability. Decima is released as OpenType single master with a Western CP1252 character set.
