Old boy is a reveal of sorts. I stumbled upon this typeface in 2016 in San Francisco while walking down Clay Street. It was set in all bronze inside this concrete slab out front of garage. I kind of fell in love with it and after taking a few photos of the signage and trying to find the actual typeface to no avail i decided to recreate it. I had about 90% of the uppercase character set from that signage to work from. From there I finished out the uppercase letterforms and went about creating the lowercase.
