Darker Marker Font Family

Darker Marker is just what the name suggests: I found a very big fat marker in a local stationary store, bought it, came home and went to work on this font. Darker Marker is a very clear, very easy to read marker font. It is all caps, but upper and lower case differ and can be interchanged. Darth Vader would have said: “come to the dark side” and I believe you should. Darker Marker comes preloaded with all the diacritics you need.

Cortese Font

As usual, I stumbled upon a great 1971 Italian movie poster when looking for something else. The poster for “La Morte Cammina Con I Tacchi Alti” (directed by Luciano Ercoli), was made by an unknown artist and comes with a great font. Cortese was based on this movie poster font, but as I started working on the glyphs, I figured they would even look better in ligatures. So here it is: Cortese font - complete with 135 ligatures, accents and even Greek and Cyrillic!

Birthday Wish PB Font

Birthday Wish is a totally off-kilter sans-serif font inspired by a late 70’s birthday greeting card. Much like a typographic drunken stumble, this font wonderfully and awkwardly fumbles across designs, surprising with each letter typed.
With a pseudo unicase character set, and offbeat letter weighting, Birthday Wish is fun to typeset with, with a cluster of ligature combinations that add to the quirky playfulness. FTY DELIRIUM is a narrow, gothic, gaspipe font family with a vintage look, stance and feel. Neon inline effects have been added to DELIRIUM’s base weight to enhance its versatility. The neon effect can even be applied as two separate elements using the font styles menu to create a simple layering option that allows for the application of two colors. Additional secondary fonts have also been added to support the heavier weights of DELIRIUM and DELIRIUM NEON. Architype Fodor Font

The Fodor letterforms were created for the magazine published by Museum Fodor, Amsterdam. To save cost it was designed to be ‘typeset’ on their own electric typewriter. The resulting monospaced effect was combined with a background of orange overlaid with pink dots that provided a page grid to align the text to. The title set on the dot matrix formed the ‘system’ for construction of the ‘digital effect’ letterforms. Now Architype Fodor recreates these letterforms as a truly digital font.

Mayence

Mayence is the French name of Mainz, German city where Johannes Gutenberg was born. It’s a manuscript font inspired in the author’s calligraphy, with an angular structure, marked by a certain impulsiveness.
Besides being a continuous-line font, Mayence explores some deviations and imperfections in the calligraphy practice, as accumulations of paint and anomalies in the thickness variation, characteristics which gives it more naturality.
