Rodian Sans Typeface

Rodian is a new rounded font typefamily. The font is a new re-designed version of one of my old fonts "Rodian" which was a classic font. But I picked it up for a new consideration, and drew a more modern font. I have received many inspirations from the city, the american subway, and the clean lines of the many fonts that you find around the inner city. The idea was to create a font that expresses the soft and still a little raw form. The name comes from an old Danish movie where one of the character called "S.P.R.F. Rodian" and is the author. It is a very untraditional Danish name, which I took as a basis in the font. The name is old-fashioned, but the font is modern.

We decided to explore the concept of fitness, but from a more natural perspective. With so many people drinking detox drinks and eating raw food, we were inspired to create a font that mixes the ‘strength’ of sports and the organic nature of natural products. The result is ‘Matcha’: a strong and energetic typeface that also flows at the same time.Matcha consists of a stable, very friendly Slab face and a calligraphy Script with a handmade style: spontaneous and fickle with some reverse-contrast alternative characters. Frontage Condensed Font Family

Frontage Condensed is a layered type system inspired by eye-catching and colorful facade signage. Its main aspect is — like many typographic installations on storefronts — three dimensional. The narrow, generously spaced letterforms lend the typeface a bold and eminent voice. The more ornamental layers like Bulb or Neon bring nostalgia to the family, while the Shadow layer maximizes the spacial impression. The system’s ten layers can be used alone or combined making the family a versatile toolkit. The use of color reveals Frontage Condensed’s full potential, yet for stark applications it works great in black and white too.Frontage Condensed features 52 catchwords. They can be simply activated through OpenType’s Discretionary Ligatures and are an easy way to enrich the typographic texture. Other features include fractions, numerators and denominators.
