A contemporary serif, German-like in strictness and precision, but still retaining originality in its shapes.

Barna is a type family intended for long running reading text. Its simple and rational flavour makes it appropiate for technical literature contents. Barna family includes a large stylistic set of variants, including condensed weights and a stencilled display style (Barna Stencil and Barna Stencil Rough) that provides a urban feeling to the family.

The Husk Family began as a digitization of a film typeface called Maile by LetterGraphics. From there, it has evolved to a much more robust character set than its original reference. With multiple numerals sets, creative discretionary ligatures, as well as Swash Capitals and a few final forms, this gladiator of the type arena cuts through to let your designs shine.

Josh Finklea’s newest release, the Centra series, is a study in utility and restraint. In keeping with his approach of iteration and improvement to the traditional typographic tools of graphic design, Finklea’s latest work tackles one of typography’s most popular genres, the geometric sans. Instead of strict adherence to a formal geometric structure, Finklea’s approach to the Bauhaus model is largely aesthetic. While Futura and other historical models of the genre were designed as distilled typographic expressions of modernism, Centra acts as a contemporary typographic expression with modernist characteristics. Centra emphasizes texture and readability over conceptual rationale, attributes that can be frustratingly elusive when using many strictly geometric sans-serif typefaces.
