Tabular Font Family

Tabular is a family of ten monospace sans serif fonts; there are five weights, each with a companion italic. Every glyph in Tabular family shares the same advance width, meaning that line-wrap isn’t affected by emboldening or italicising text. We recommend Tabular for onscreen-use in apps, and on the web – wherever you have to display code (font families that can be used for coding and which include italics are rare). Tabular is great in print, too, especially for financial reporting or letterheads that include several telephone numbers.

Questal is an intriguing unicase serif. The face appears rather eccentric, yet it still retains a refined character. The typeface is wider than most, but not to the degree that Aviano is extended. The font includes some interesting OpenType alternate characters to extend the quirky quality of the letterforms even further. If unicase isn't your thing, the Questal family also includes a small caps variant for more traditional uses. Use Questal for eye-catching and distinctive logotypes or headlines.

In the latest version, by Olga Pankova, the shapes of the letters have been updated, and there are new upright and italic styles, small capitals and new ligatures and non-alphabetic symbols.
BigCity Grotesque Pro, thanks to the wide range of weights and styles that it offers, has become a serious tool for meeting all kinds of typographical demands: from large displays to the most finicky typesetting.

Grifo Font Family

Grifo Font Family

Grifo Font Family
30 OTF
Grifo is an economic text face designed for magazines. It’s made to save space in long texts and in big, tightly set headlines. The family has three optical sizes: S, for text; M, for titles and L for big headlines. Each of these have five weights from Light to Black, with matching italics. Grifo’s design draws on the extreme hight stroke contrast of the neoclassic types but has bracketed serifs and sharp triangular terminals. Indeed, sharp spikes and hooks are one of grifo’s traits, specially in the L size. It’s full of talon shapes, like the c, e, the bottom curve of the t, or most obviously, commas and quotes. One other distinguishing quality is the prominently rational approach of the shapes, with very hard lines, as if the letters were cut with a scalpel. Vertical strokes all end with abrupt horizontal cuts and the baseline serifs of the letters a, d and u where cut off, to give the alphabet a harder and simplified edge, contributing also to save space. Grifo is the portuguese word for Griffin, the sharp-clawed, half-lion, half-eagle, mythological creature.

Foundry Wilson is a lovingly drawn revival of a 1760 font from Scottish type founder Alexander Wilson, a learned and cultured man who crafted his types with care and skill. Many of Wilson’s fonts were produced exclusively for the Foulis brothers' classics published by Glasgow University Press. This creative relationship produced typography that earned the praise of their peers. A fresh alternative to the contemporary Baskerville, with a taste of the incised letterforms of its time, Foundry Wilson is a robust and lively type design that displays a beautiful colour and texture on the page.

“VIATA” is my new experimental Sans again based on the modernistic, constructivist letterforms of the “Bauhaus” era. The names Herbert Bayer and Paul Renner come to mind as design beacons of that time. “VIATA” has flat tops and round bottoms, which give the glyphs a very distinct form, slanted endings on some horizontal strokes give the font more dynamic. The font also has an additional set of medieval ciphers »VIATA« adds a new kick to the old forms. I am now offering these 10 fonts at a sensational family price.
