Equitan Slab Font Family

Part of the Equitan super family, Equitan Sans and Equitan Slab are ready for branding projects and packaging design. They serve up industrial-era letterforms, refreshed for a new century. Each of the seven weights has an upright and a true italic, with 418 glyphs per font. Equitan Slab’s uppercase letters create an almost woven pattern when set together, due to their oversized serifs. The italics follow suit, and include long out-strokes. These curls create a playful take on recognisable elements of the ‘Scotch Roman’ genre.

Yuzu Font Family

Yuzu is a soft sans for branding. It features rounded stroke-endings and slightly narrow caps. Aside from its terminals, other soft features in the design include a beard on bottom-right of the capital ‘G’, and arched diagonals on ‘A’ ‘K’ ‘V’ ‘W’ ‘X’ ‘Y’ ‘k’ ‘v’ ‘w’ ‘x’ ‘y’ ‘4’ and ‘7’. The fonts include two OpenType Stylistic Sets with alternate letterforms. Stylistic Set 1 includes alternate versions of the typeface’s diagonal letters, with straight strokes, and an alternate ‘G’. The standard lowercase ‘g’ has a single-storey form, and Stylistic Sect 2 switches this out with a double-storey version.

Joana Correia’s Vyoma is a friendly-looking typeface and an outstanding humanistic sans. Its letterforms appear both playful and nice. Several letters feature curved out-strokes: these are unusual for a sans serif design, but they definitely add personality. The counterforms in this design are very open, and they help create words that are highly legible and a joy to read. Try out Vyoma in a wide variety of applications, including corporate identity, signage, and text (onscreen and in print). In Hindi, “vyoma” is a word for the sky.

Mr Dum Dum Font Family

Mr Dum Dum was designed for our game – Ba Ba Dum. In Ba Ba Dum players can learn words in different languages, so we needed a typeface that can support not only all latin characters but also Cyrillic, Greek and two Japanese syllabaries – Hiragana and Katakana. Eventually we wanted to add Chinese support so we designed 1314 Simplified Chinese characters – just enough to cover all words available in Ba Ba Dum plus necessary logograms to translate the games UI.

Brushstrike Font Family

The Brush Strike Family is an exercise in dynamic, gestural brush type design by Francesco Canovaro. The typeface contains no lowercase set, but it doubles the uppercase with a strikethrough alternate set to be used for dynamic logo design and unusual word highlighting. Two weights are avalaible with consistent design: the light weight (Brushstrike Light aka Lightstrike) can work togheter with the heavier regular weight but can also be used in white on dark background for light effects.
