Supernova is a new family that combines the spontaneity of a script typeface with the versatility of multiple weights and cuts. The development of script typefaces has largely been limited to variations in shape and proportion (and with the advent of OpenType technology, the addition of alternate letterforms). Their application has continued to be primarily linked to their emotional attributes, while roman types predominate in body texts. Supernova takes a step in a different direction and was conceived as a script typeface family comprised of several weights and cuts, including a versatile, eye-catching display version and a highly legible body-text version with five weights.

The Rosella family, by Sabina Chipara?, is an elegant and playful suite of typefaces that are ideal for book covers, social announcements, packaging and posters. Inspired by late 19th century engravers typefaces that mimic the delicate and ornate hairlines of steel and copperplate engraving, the family’s foundation is built on the dramatic Solid design and then expands to Deco, Engraved, Flourish, Hatched and Inline styles. Rosella also takes to color like the beautiful Australian parrot it is named after. Words set in the typeface come alive when vibrant colors, or tinted backgrounds become part of their plumage. While modern as today, the design also has a quiet antique vibe that brings an understated refinement to a variety of hardcopy projects. Designed by Harold Broderson in 1953, Brody is a script font release by URW. Contains language support for West, East, Turkish, Baltic, and Romanian.

While studying catalogs designed by Willem Sandberg for the Stedelijk Museum, Berton Hasebe noticed frequent use of small sizes of Annonce Grotesk, a very wide and bold sans serif, for running feet, headers within text, and other small navigational elements. Unable to think of a contemporary typeface able to do this job as capably, he was inspired to adapt Druk Wide for small sizes. Druk Text Wide is designed to be useful for structural elements, clarifying typographic hierarchy without forcing dramatic changes in scale on the page. It can also be used sparingly for short blocks of text, but it is primarily intended for display use at small sizes, maintaining its legibility all the way down to 6pt.

Promises is a display typeface from Fresh Pressed Fonts! Promises was originally a handwritten font that was created for wedding invitations. FPF decided to create a full typeface from those original letters. It has a distressed appearance, and is perfect for any design that calls for a soft yet distinct display font.
